The Colony Central Fire Station The Colony, Texas The Colony Central Fire Station is a 5,565 sq. ft. remodel/add-on of wood frame with brick veneer. This is the original building donated to The Colony Volunteer Fire Department and it is now their main station. Interiors consist of offices, kitchen, day room, dormitory, rest rooms, and conference rooms. The exterior walls have R-19 batt with Anderson windows (high performance insulated glass) and R-30 ceilings. The air conditioning is 2-speed, high efficiency, and the facility is fully sprinkled.
