The new Frisco Central Fire Station was completed in 2006. It has 51,626 sq. ft. and five apparatus bays. In addition to the support spaces which include dormitories, kitchen/dining, offices, conference rooms and day rooms, the new station boasts Frisco Fire Safety Town. This minature town has working stop lights and toll booths, a railroad crossing, battery operated cars, and bikes, as well as an auditorium and a burn house for children to learn all about fire safety.
